The upholstery is vinyl and is called Duratouch. Duratouch is a very high grade of vinyl and is standard on the Dr Thompson Neuroacoustic Sound Tables. It comes in many colors, including White, Ecru, Rose, Iris, Claret, Concord, Black, Royal , Neptune, Mallard, Forest, Moss, Truffle, Horizon, and Gris or light gray. Duratouch is incredibly soft to the touch, extremely durable, stain and oil resistant and will not crack or stiffen. It can be cleaned with alcohol or normal detergents.

Adjustable headrests are available and are a comfortable crescent shape.
